Paul Hastings, Jonofsky & Walker

SHOR helped American law firm move from Richard Rogers to Norman Foster.

Paul Hastings is an American law firm. We had previously helped them move from Tower 42 to 88 Wood Street (a Richard Rogers building) but eventually outgrew this space. They asked us to advise whether they should relocate or take more space in their current location. They also wanted their office design and location to promote their brand more effectively.

After analysis, we felt that relocation was the best option; it would create less disruption and provide better opportunity for achieving their business aims. Our proposal was Ten Bishop’s Square; it was a new building designed by Norman Foster. Its benefits were considerable: it had a large front of house area for branding, it had the option to take more space and it was fast becoming an established legal address.

They approved our proposal and we managed a very high-quality design and build project that attained a excellent level of space efficiency. It was a great success and we have since performed two expansion projects for them.
